Well, except for last night.
And that one night last month when Eliza screamed and screamed for an hour-and-a-half straight when my mom was babysitting.
So, most of the time, it's wonderful. It's my favorite time of the day.
There's something so special about piling into bed with those you love most and talking, reading, snuggling...

And talks...
And talks...
And talks...
I love it.
It's part stall tactic, of course. But more so, it's the fact that the distractions from the day -- school, work, routine, meals, etc. are no longer there to keep us from opening up and just being. So I always find myself in love with the moments just after we've read our last book and just before we give our final kisses goodnight.
It's sweet.

Thanks to my talented friend, Holly, from Shutterly Sweet Photography for capturing some of our bedtime routine.
